Following the footsteps of our sites in Belgium and the Netherlands, Transpharma International UK has also successfully passed the certification audit for Good Distribution Practice (GDP) related to our multi-modal freight forwarding activities for the pharma and healthcare sector.
As part of this evaluation, our management system was rigorously evaluated and ultimately recognised as compliant with the requirements of the Guideline 2013/C 343/01/. The certificate is active from 6 September 2023 and opens up further avenues of fruitful Client partnerships for our Transpharma International operation in the UK.
What is GDP (Good Distribution Practices) certification?
In the rapidly growing fields of international transportation for the pharma & healthcare sector, accuracy and reliability are non-negotiable.
The GDP certification signifies our adherence to fundamental quality standards designed to ensure the safety and integrity of healthcare and pharma supplies and maximise the efficiency of their shipping all the way from the point of manufacture to the end user. This accreditation is an essential industry standard and a key guideline for the quality of our activities.
Why it is an important achievement for us?
GDP certification is highly demanded by our customers and partners and is a testament to our commitment to maintaining best distribution practices and ensuring the quality, safety and precision of all aspects of the services we deliver.
Our people are our main driver
Credit for this achievement goes to the entire UK team, who once again went the extra mile, ensuring the preparation and successful completion of a thorough two-stage audit, culminating in official accreditation.
This important accomplishment is proof of our continuous dedication to the highest standards of healthcare logistics to guarantee safe and efficient first-mile distribution of healthcare products and medical supplies.
